Hello, glad to have you back. I was concerned for a while there--I hate becoming fond of a web site only to have the author abandon it! I was curious where your picture of the coughing woman came from.

Thank you! A combination of NyQuil, Alka-Seltzer Cold (the purple gels) and lotsa orange juice did the trick! I'm still gonna go get me some chicken soup though! ;)

Thank you! I know what you mean about those places on the Internet that you enjoy visiting, suddenly just ceasing to exist. As long as I have a supply of recipes and enjoy doing it, this blog should be around for a long time! :)
The picture of the coughing woman is from a Get Well card I bought in the early 90's. Unfortunately, the card, made by Gibson Greetings, has since been bought out by American Greetings. Gibson had a great series called 'ZOOM,' which made this card and other retro ones like it.
